Where a big night is won or lost
Moment 01 · The first ten minutes
Picture the gala at the moment the doors open: people arriving, the room still cold, the client watching the entrance. Those ten minutes set the tone for everything after.
What I do: before the doors open I check every detail. The artists are ready and connected with each other, the whole machine is synchronised, and nothing is left to chance.
Moment 02 · The central moment
Every event has one moment the client will remember. The show has to lift it without taking it away from the people it belongs to: the couple, the hosts, the brand.
What I do: I build that moment into the cue sheet and run it like a television control room, with precision and rhythm. Spectacular, but discreet.
Moment 03 · The transitions
This is where most nights lose energy: a pause too long, a change of light nobody planned, a band that starts while the room is still eating.
What I do: I direct the transitions as part of the show, so the audience never perceives the work behind it.

An open-air concert in a city square, almost 6,000 people, a very hot evening. At minute 20 the laptop running the drummer’s sequences, which carried almost the whole musical line, froze and would not restart. I took the microphone, used the heat and the mood, stopped the concert and sent the whole square to the bar. Twenty minutes later the bar was empty, the concert restarted, and the staff congratulated me on what they thought was a brilliant planned move.
“The audience must not see the problem. It must see the show.” With the team we call it “andiamo a braccio”: we play it live.

31 December 2024 · Reggio Emilia
Showzer provided the main live entertainment of the City of Reggio Emilia’s New Year’s Eve: musicians, singers, acrobats, performers, special effects and staging. The event’s artistic direction was by Simone Ranieri. The press also reported that Showzer has performed for audiences in Spain, France, England and Greece. My line that day: “The heart of every show is teamwork.”
Summer 2018 · Italy
DiTutto reported Showzer playing 90 dates across Italy in a single summer, from north to south, ahead of a winter tour in Italian and international clubs. Italian press has covered Showzer since at least 2018.

Downstage · percussion
I started on drums; my first concert came about a month after I began, almost as a game. Two years at a conservatory, bands, tours. I moved to percussion to be closer to the audience, part of the show rather than only playing in it. Then five years in Ibiza, and two world tours with Amnesia Ibiza.

Working in the UAE and the Gulf
Based in Milan, I work abroad as the show partner of the local organiser, planner or venue. I don’t have an office, crew or licence there. In Dubai, live performances need a permit issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism through a licensed organiser or venue, so I plan the show around your permit timeline. The event high season runs roughly from October to April; the earlier we talk, the more rehearsal the show gets. For context, Dubai welcomed 19.59 million international visitors in 2025.
